NIce cozy hotel

Good location, very close to the shopping area & mall and Menara besar (which seems to be the centre for tourist attraction). Our rooms was next to the mosque, so we could hear the morning sermon clearly each morning (nice wake up call). Rooms are generally clean, staff are polite and helpful.

Breakfast spread could do better if soup are properly heated and keep warm - we had cold chicken soup for both mornings.

The widespread buffet breakfast

The towels were smelly and old. We got them changed but it was the same stinky smell. We ordered room service. Spaghetti bolognaise was sweet, caesar salad was not fresh. The kuey tiau was also sweet. The only consolation is the nasi goreng kampung. My rating - the worst hotel meal ever

Over all it is good.

Location is good. Walking distance to most of the attraction places and shopping areas (Pasar Atas)

Seen cats moving around at the breakfast area. Don't feel very comfortable. My room door is difficult to open. Have to call the reception for help.

Stylish Indonesian palace right in the center of Bukittingi

Perfect location near the great square with the tower Jam Gadang. Very spacious and stylish hotel, like a palace. Nice pool, suitable for western swimming suits. Outstanding breakfast. We took a room with mountain view. Friendly helpful personnel. Walking distance to the most important sightseeing points: Fort De Kock, The Zoo, the Japanese tunnels and the panorama view over the Sianok canyon (Ngarai Sianok). We walked across the canyon to the village Koto Gadang (2 - 3 hours walk, back with a bemo), where you can find several silver art shops.

The only minor point: The mosque with a strong speaker that started the first call to prayer about half an hour before sunset.

The location was excellent, located in the middle of Bukittinggi city and with walkable distance to many tourism places.

My rooms were not cleaned properly. There were some blood marks on the pillow, disgusting saliva, and some brown colour on the bed cover.

Breakfast is excellent - a lot of choices

I need to pay extra for IDR200,000 per night for joining room because the rooms are facing the mountain. There was no joining room available except the one facing the mountain. So, I was asked to pay IND 800,000 for four night stay there because of the view. I think its unfair as the mountain is hardly seen from our window due to fog especially in the morning and night.

kalo saya ke bukit tinggi, saya pasti akan menginap di hotel ini lagi.

bangunannya cantik, bangunan lama yg dipugar, tempat favorite saya adalah tempat sarapan pagi outdoor, kami punya foto yang cantik saat sarapan bagi dgn arsitektur bangunannya, buat saya sarapan pagi outdoor itu menyenangkan sekali, karena ditempat ini, selain pemandangannya cantik, bangunannya indah, udaranya pun sejuk. Menu sarapan pagi utk ukuran sebuah kota kecil, memuaskan. Seluruh staff ramah, menolong dan tanggap. Lokasinya strategis sekali, sekitar hotel banyak tempat menjual makanan dan pasar.

sayang sekali semua closetnya mengalami kebocoran, sehingga sepanjang hari air mengalir terbuang sia-sia. Padahal program hotel ini mengadang2 program save water save planet.

1 malam tidak cukup untuk menjelajahi kota bukittinggi. sayangnya ada kucing di dalam hotel ;((

Pelayanannya sangat membantu dan ramah. Makanan enak, sayangnya kok bisa ada kucing masuk coffee shop dan duduk di sofa pula. Ada bbrp orang alergi terhadap bulu binatang. Letak hotel sangat dekat dengan area pariwisata. Sirkulasi udara di lobby hotel sangat baik.

Kamar mandinya harus lebih diperhatikan dan diperbaharui, air toilet rusak dan bocor...sayang air terbuang. Kran wastafel juga sudah agak rusak. Tirai kamar mandi juga sudah banyak bercak2. Begitu juga lantai kamar dan ac yang suaranya kuras (Spt ac lama) Makanan enak, sayangnya kok bisa ada kucing masuk coffee shop dan duduk di sofa pula. Ada bbrp orang alergi terhadap bulu binatang.

salah satu kamar yg kami sewa mengalami kebocoran kran di dlm kamar mandi, sehingga air menggenangi lantai, dicoba utk diperbaiki, tapi sepertinya tidak membuahkan hasil, berita bagusnya teman saya kamarnya diupgrade. Staff hotel sangat tanggap, saya duduk dilobby sambil menunggu teman check out, ternyata kursi yg saya duduki kakinya patah, tapi tidak membuat saya celaka, waktu saya informasikan, staff langsung menyingkirkan kursi tersebut dari lobby, sehingga tidak ada org lain yang mengalami hal yang sama dengan saya. Saya suka hotel ini karena semua sudut bangunannya memiliki view yang cantik. Udara di Bukit Tinggi sangat sejuk. Saya menikmati sarapan pagi outdoornya, suasananya menyenangkan sekali. Yg paling penting anda harus memesan lewat booking.com, karena jika kita memesan saat ditempat harganya jauh sekali.

kalo anda ingin menginap ditempat ini, anda harus memesannya jauh2 hari, karena hanya 2 hotel yg bagus di Bukit Tinggi, salah satunya adalah tempat ini, dan tempat ini selalu ramai.

Smoking areas seem to be every where, even at the breakfast area. The hotel discrimates against non smokers. Doesn't look a 4 star hotel to me.
